• LOCKING   Grades 0 - 3 are secured by a single double bitted keylock as standard.  Grades 4 - 6 are secured by a dual key locking, conforming to EN1143-1, as standard.  A wide variety of electronic, time delay and mechanical combination locks can be fitted as an option.
• CONSTRUCTION   Constructed from jointless barrier materials encapsulated  in an outer and inner steel body for greater protection against attack.  Differing security levels are achieved within the Sovereign range by the use of increasingly resilient barrier materials.  The doors are constructed using the same barrier materials together with the inclusion of additional protection over the locking areas.
• BOLTWORK   Four way engagement with 32mm moving bolts extending from 3 sides of the door, that secure the door effectively into the body.  The 3 way moving boltwork provides effective defence against attacks.  Up to four anti-explosive devices also protect the boltwork against attack.
• BASE FIXING   A steel bush is welded in the safe base to accept a Chubb-specified high tensile, heavy duty anchor bolt.
• CASH RATING   Naturally, the cash rating increases with the grade of Sovereign.  The recommended ratings are £6,000 (grade 0),  £10,000 (grade 1),  £17,500 (grade 2),  £35,000 (grade 3),  £60,000 (grade 4),  £100,000 (grade 5)  and £150,000 (grade 6).  Cash rating is the amount an insurance company will allow the safe to store overnight.  As a general rule, this rating is multiplied by a factor of 10 for jewellery and material contents, so a  Sovereign Grade 1 with a cash rating of £10,000 will allow for jewellery / material storage worth £100,000 in domestic situations - Please check with your underwriter.
• FIRE RESISTANCE   Grades 0 - 2 have gained the NT fire 017 standard and offer 60 minutes fire protection for documents.

• FINISH   The safes are finished in a light grey texture.  Escutcheons, combination dials, keypad and handle are finished in Black.
